Sociology Teacher (IGCSE) – British Curriculum

A British Curriculum school in Dubai is seeking a qualified and experienced Sociology Teacher to join its academic team. The ideal candidate will have strong subject expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver engaging lessons that promote student achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Sociology at the IGCSE level in accordance with the British Curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials that support student success.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/ Master's degree specializing in Sociology along with a B.Ed. qualification.
• Proven experience teaching Sociology at the IGCSE level.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Previous UAE teaching experience is preferred.
• Experience in a British Curriculum school is an advantage.
• Candidates on Spouse Visa will be given preference.
• Available to join by the last week of August 2026
