Job Summary:

A Nursing Assistant in Dubai plays a vital role in supporting healthcare professionals by providing essential patient care and ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients. This role involves assisting nurses, doctors, and other medical staff in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
  • Provide basic medical care under the supervision of a nurse, such as changing bandages and applying dressings.
  • Help with patient mobility, including transferring and repositioning bedridden patients.
  • Ensure a clean and safe patient environment by changing linens and maintaining hygiene.
  • Assist nurses and doctors during medical procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and report changes in patient conditions to the healthcare team.
  • Offer emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or certification in Nursing Assistance or a related field.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Basic medical knowledge and understanding of patient care procedures.
  • License/Certification: DHA (Dubai Health Authority) eligibility or license is preferred.
  • Language: Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
